INTERACTIONS: Tetracycline, flour, estramustin, biphosphonate, phenytoin, quinolones prevent calcium absorption, so do not take Davita Bone Sugar Free within 3 hours before or after taking these medications.
Thiazide diuretics reduce urinary excretion of calcium, potentially causing hypercalcemia. Concurrent administration of high doses of calcium with digitalis increases the risk of arrhythmia.
UNWANTED EFFECTS:
Rarely: digestive disorders (constipation, bloating, diarrhea).

OVERDOSE AND TREATMENT:
Blood calcium concentrations exceeding 2.6 mmol / l (10.5 mg / 100 ml) are considered hypercalcemia.
In the case of patients without clinical manifestations and normal renal function just stop using the drug containing calcium.
When the blood calcium concentration exceeds 2.9 mmol / l (120 mg / 100 ml), the following measures must be used: rehydration by intravenous infusion of 0.9% sodium chloride. Forced diuretic with furosemide or ethacrynic acid. Monitor the concentration of potassium, magnesium in the blood and replace blood early to prevent complications in treatment.
